Description
This softkey lets y ou set the sw ept signal generator to start sw eeping
at the frequency of marker 1 (M1), and stop sw eeping at the
frequency of marker 2 (M2). M2 m ust ha v e a higher frequency
v alue than M1. If

M1--M2 Sweep is activ ated when M2 is at a
low er frequency than M1, the v alues of M1 and M2 are p ermanen tly
in terc hanged. While this function is active, the start/stop frequencies
of the sw ept signal generator are c hanged to the v alues of M1 and
M2. An asterisk next to the k ey lab el indicates this feature is active.

Description
This softkey lets y ou set the sw ept signal generator to the man ual
sw eep mo de of op eration. Dep ending on what parameter is sw eeping,
y ou can use either the rotary knob or the ARR O W k eys to man ually
sw eep b et w een the start/stop limits. In man ual sw eep mo de, the
sw ept signal generator do es not automatically retrace at the sw eep
end p oint (the user m ust turn the rotary knob to retrace), and the
green SWEEP LED do es not light. The resolution of the rotary
knob is 0.1% of the sw eep span in either start/stop or CF/1F mo de.
