Example Programs
The following is an example program using SCPI compatible
instrumen ts. The example is written in HP BASIC.
This example is a stimulus and resp onse application. It uses a source
and coun ter to test a v oltage con trolled oscillator.
Example Program
Description. This example demonstrates ho w sev eral SCPI
instrumen ts w ork together to p erform a stimulus/response
measuremen t. This program measures the linearity of a v oltage
con trolled oscillator (V CO). A V CO is a device that outputs a
frequency prop ortional to an input signal lev el. Figure 1-28 sho ws
ho w the hardw are is congured.
