Entry Area
All function v alues are c hanged via the rotary knob and/or k eys of
the en try area.

The following are active only when the sw ept signal generator
exp ects an input.
4 ENTRY ON/OFF 5: This k ey lets y ou turn o or on the active en try
area. T urning o the en try area after a v alue is en tered prev en ts
acciden tal c hanges.
ENTR Y ON LED: This LED lights when the en try area is active.
Arro w Keys: The up/do wn arrow k eys let y ou increase or decrease
a n umeric v alue. The left/righ t arrow k eys c ho ose a signicant
digit indicated b y an underline.
Rotary Knob: The rotary knob increases or decreases a n umeric
v alue. The rotary knob can b e used in com bination with the
left/righ t arrow k eys to c hange the incremen t size.
T erminator Keys: After the n umeric en try k eys are used to en ter a
v alue, these k eys dene the units.
Negative Sign/Bac kspace Key: If a data en try is in progress, this
k ey bac kspaces o v er the last digit en tered, otherwise a negative
sign is en tered.
Numeric En try Keys: These k eys en ter sp ecic n um b ers in the
active en try area and m ust b e follo w ed b y one of the terminator
k eys b efore the function v alue c hanges.
