Generalized
Trigger
Model
Ov
erview
An
instrumen
t
trigger
system
sync
hronizes
instrumen
t
actions
with
sp ecied
ev
en
ts.
An
instrumen
t
action
may
b e
to
make
a
measuremen
t
or
source
an
output
signal.
The
ev
en
ts
used
to
sync
hronize
these
actions
include
softw
are
trigger
commands,
c
hanging
signal
lev
els,
and
pulses
on
BNC
connectors.
The
trigger
system
also
lets
y
ou
sp ecify
the

um
b er
of
times
to
rep eat
certain
actions,
and
dela
ys

actions.
