•
The active and reactive energy when the current waveform is leading the voltage waveform
and the active energy is being received by the network from the premise (leading reactive
energy measured in kvarh when in quadrant 3)
•
The active and reactive energy when the current waveform is leading the voltage waveform
and the active energy is being delivered from the network to the premise (leading reactive
energy measured in kvarh when in quadrant 4)

Power factor measurements:
Power factor for the sum of the measuring elements
Power factor for phase A
Power factor for phase B
Power factor for phase C
3.1.1.7 Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)
The SGM3000 three phase meters support measurement of the voltage total harmonic
distortion of each phase, expressed as the ratio of RMS of the harmonic component of voltage
divided by the RMS of the fundamental component of the voltage.
The SGM3000 three phase meters support measurement of the current total harmonic
distortion of each phase, expressed as the ratio of RMS of the harmonic component of current
divided by the RMS of the fundamental component of the current.
3.1.1.8 Pulse Inputs
The SGM30C2 meters support storage of the consumed energy received from each of the pulse
inputs on the meter.
Water Observables
The SGM3000 Series meters have the ability to store the following water consumption data and
multiple water based observables. The meter will not perform metrology of any water
observables. Water based observables will be measured by a remote metrology device and
transmitted to the meter via the home area network (HAN) interface. The measurements
include the following:
•
Water delivered by the network to the premise
Exported water is typically measured in kilolitres.
•
Delivered water over a defined time period.
This is a measure of the maximum demand of water, measured in liters per hour.
Gas Observables
The SGM3000 Series meters support storage of the following gas consumption data and
multiple gas based observables. The meter will not perform metrology of any gas observables.
