The holiday definition functionality of the SGM3000 Series meters is shared across several areas
of the firmware. The meter supports the definition of multiple holiday days on which the
holiday day type schedule will apply. The tariff switching schedule for a holiday day will be
selected separately for each holiday day. A holiday day can be assigned any one of the available
day types. The meter supports the definition of up to 50 days to be designated as holidays. The
definition of holiday days is based on the following multiple recurrence types:
•
Once off holidays, where the day, month, and year are defined
The one off holiday only occurs once in total, on the defined date.
•
Annual recurring holidays, where the day and month are defined
The annual recurring holiday occurs on the same day each year, for example
New Year’s Day
as always defined as 1
st
January.
•
Annual floating holidays, where the day of the week and the week of the month are defined
The meters will provide for seasonal changes to scheduled behavior. The meter supports
definition of multiple seasons, with a minimum of four seasons.
The following season definitions are available:
•
The switch points for the daily time periods will be definable individually for each season.
•
The day type assigned to each day of the week will be defined individually for each season.
•
The start day for a season will be definable for each season.
•
The end day for a season will be definable for each season.

•
Local recording of TOU data on a daily schedule
Daily scheduled recording will occur at 0:00 midnight.
•
Local recording of TOU data on a weekly schedule
Weekly scheduled recording will occur at 0:00 midnight on Sunday.
•
Local recording of TOU data on a monthly schedule
Monthly scheduled recording will occur at 0:00 midnight on the last day of the month/first
day of the next month.
The meter will have sufficient memory to record a minimum of 53 instances of TOU data. All

generate a memory full event for the first time data is overwritten without subsequent
