Safety System
Connections
Connection of the robot safety system. These connections are described in section

Connections
Connection of the spray booth (cabin) safety systems. These connections are

Remote Panel
Connections
The robot may be controlled from a main panel on the controller, a remote panel or
from a PLC. Remote panel connections describe necessary connections if a remote
panel is used. Described under
Encoder Connections
The encoder connections may be used for connection to the conveyor for the
tracking function and/or inputs from paint flow monitoring. For information on
connections, see

Distributed I/O
Different field bus nodes are available for connection of digital and analog I/O, field
bus nodes for communication with PLC etc. For information on connections etc, see
‘Unit Description, IRC5P’, Distributed I/O.
Ethernet Communication
Ethernet can be used to connect a PC to the controller for download of robot
programs, configurations, backup etc. Ethernet can also be used for communication
between the controller and an external PC or for including one or more robots in an
