7.15 Replacement of Drive System 04 Components
Location
The drive unit assembly, consisting of motor drive units for the robot axis motors,
rectifier and capacitor, is located on the back panel in the controller as shown below.
An additional drive unit, located above the drive unit assembly includes drivers for
paint pump motors and CBS if used.

Removal
The procedure describes how to remove a drive unit, the rectifier unit or the

3 Capacitor unit 10 Motor drive 3 & 6 pack attachment screws
4 Capacitor unit attachment screws 11 Bus bars
5 Rectifier unit 12 Axis 7/8 drive units, dummy or cover plate
