Signal Cable Screen
Connections
All signal cables used in the system must be screened cables and all screens on all
signal cables are best connected to a good ground connection at both ends. An
example of a grounding system like this is shown in Figure 88 .

Note:
The bonding wire may be omitted. The use of this wire depends on the size of
the components (the amount of noise which can be induced in the component
casing), the distance to the component, the signals sensitivity to noise and present
noise in the installation etc.
