3.7.2. Various alignment possibilities

The charge inlets on a bus can be located on various positions. The most common buses
have their inlets located at the front or the back of the vehicle, either on one of the sides or
centrally (as indicated below).

Most common locations of a bus’s charge inlets

This makes some positions of the charger more favorable than others, regarding the desired
arrangement of the parking space. Please keep this in mind when designing a site. Some
possible situations are shown in the picture below.
