4.7 Resetting the X2002
If you forget the administrator password, you will need to reset the X2002 back to
the factory defaults.
Use the
RESET
button on the front panel of the X2002 to reset the X2002 back to
factory defaults. Press and hold the
RESET
button for 10 seconds. The X2002 will
reload its factory defaults.
The X2002 is reinitialized with a default configuration file including the default
administrator username (admin) and password (1234). The LAN IP address of the
X2002 also reverts to the default 192.168.1.12 and the WAN IP address reverts to
172.16.1.1.
4.8 Rebooting the X2002
If the X2002 is not performing as expected, you can reboot the system as a basic
troubleshooting step. Rebooting the X2002 does not change any of the
configuration settings. Rebooting simply restarts all of the subsystems (voice
processing, network interfaces and so on) and reloads the latest saved
configuration on the X2002.
Click
Maintenance
>
Reboot
to open the
Reboot
screen. Click the
Reboot
button to restart the X2002.
