Field Description
ISP’ s Name Enter the name of your Internet Service Provider, e.g., myisp.
This information is for identification purposes only.
ISP IP Addr Enter the IP Address of the remote gateway at the ISP’ s site. If
you don’ t have this data, just leave it blank.
Pri Phone and Sec
Phone Number Both the Primary and the Secondary Phone number refer to the
number that the Prestige dials to connect to the ISP.
My Login Name Enter the login name given to you by your ISP.
My Password Enter the password associated with the login name above.
Single User Account Please see the following section for a more detailed discussion
on the Single User Account feature. The default is Yes.
Telco Options: Transfer
Type
Select 64K, Leased, or Modem.
Nailed-up Connection
This can only be toggled if the Transfer Rate is 64K or modem
over ISDN. Otherwise, it is set at No.

After, the SMT asks if you wish to test the Internet connection. If you select
Yes
, the Prestige
will call the ISP to test the Internet connection. If the test fails, please note the error message
that you receive and take the appropriate troubleshooting steps.
5.2. Single User Account
Typically, if there are multiple users on the LAN wanting to concurrently access the
Internet, they will have to subscribe to multiple IP addresses from the ISP which will cost
more than a single user account.
The Single User Account (SUA) feature gives you the same benefits as having multiple IP
addresses while only paying for one IP address, thus saving significantly on subscription
fees.
Additionally, this feature can be used to simplify the allocation of IP addresses when
connecting branch offices to a corporate network.
The IP address for the Prestige’s Single User Account feature can be either static
(permanently assigned) or dynamic (assigned on a per use basis). In addition, you can also
configure the Prestige to assign a server IP address to one LAN workstation, making it
accessible by outside users.
