Please keep in mind that configuration is stored on flash ROM in the Prestige so even if a
power failure were to occur, your configuration would still be safe.
16.7. Upload Firmware
Firmware updates are only possible through the console connection. You cannot use
telnet
to update the firmware version of your Prestige. Please note that this function
deletes the old firmware before installing the new firmware. Do not attempt to utilize these
menus unless you have the new router firmware and new router configuration file updates.

16.7.1. Upload router Firmware.
Enter 1 to upload router firmware and follow the instructions on the screen. Please note that
the upload will erase the current router firmware, so make sure you have the new router
firmware update.
