Clearing the Password
Jumper E0390 is used to clear the system password.
1.
Power off the system and remove the covers as described in
the Upgrades and Options chapter.
2.
Move the password jumper E0390 from pins 1 and 2 to pins
2 and 3.
3.
Power on the system and wait for POST to complete.
4.
Power off the system and remove the power cord.
5.
Move the password jumper E0390 back to pins 1 and 2.
6.
Replace the covers as described in the “Updates and
Options” chapter and power on the system.
7.
To specify a new password run the ECU as described earlier
in this chapter.
Selecting the SIMM Size for Bank 0
Jumper E0391 is used to select the amount of SIMM memory size
for bank 0.
The default position for this jumper is set to STD (standard
mode), pins 1 and 2, when bank 0 contains 2M, 4M, and 8M
SIMMs. For 16M and 32M SIMMs, this jumper must be moved
to pins 2 and 3.

Power off the system and remove the covers as described in
the Upgrades and Options chapter.
2.
Move the memory bank 0 jumper, E0391, to pins 2 and 3.
3.
Replace the covers and power on the system.
