Being careful not to bend the pins, press down on the
processor until it seats in the socket.
10. To keep the CPU module from moving, place one hand on
the socket at (A).
11. With your other hand, grasp the socket lever handle (B) and
gently push the lever down until it snaps into the lock
position.
12. Install the CPU module into the system as described in
“Installing the CPU Module” earlier in this chapter..
13. Replace the covers and power on the system.
14. Run the ECU and verify the correct processor was installed.
Save the configuration.
