The device incorporates state-of-the-art interface and communication
technology (e.g. LAN, USB, RS 232). The device can be connected to a
patient database or a practice management system in the user's network. By
default, the device supports the ZEISS VISUCONSULT/i.Com mobile
application and ZEISS FORUM. Thus, the data of the patient to be measured
can be retrieved from a worklist and his/her measurement data transferred
back to the patient database after measurement. The device can also
generate several PDF and XML formats as well as the standard published by
JOIA. This data can be copied to a directory on a network folder and/or USB
drive. Furthermore, the measured data can be sent to a network printer for
printing, or to the ZEISS subjective refraction system comprising the
VISUSCREEN 100/500 visual acuity chart projector and the VISUPHOR 500
digital phoropter.
Service life
WARNING - GENERAL HAZARD
The development, production and maintenance of this device, together
with the associated risks, are based on an expected service life of seven
years.
Modifications to the product or failure to follow the manufacturer's
instructions may substantially reduce the expected service life and
significantly increase the risks associated with the use of this device.
