Warning and information messages
The device has two warning message levels.
Level Symbol Function Explanation
2 Warning e.g. note on uncertain measurement
3 Error Reports a software or measurement error.
The error may be remedied by repeating the
action. If it is not possible to eliminate the
error, contact ZEISS Service.
The warning messages are displayed on the screen.

Operating concept
Position the patient for measurement using the joystick ( 7 , Fig. 3) and
buttons for chin rest height control ( 5 , Fig. 3).
After positioning the patient, the device is operated via the touch screen
( 2 , Fig. 3). The user interface is based on graphical elements and responsive
operating buttons, enabling simple and intuitive operation of the device. It
supports the measurement procedure which the user is used to. The device
settings allow setting various parameters of the user interface to the needs
of the user.
