The use of a closed network is recommended, if necessary with a
single point of access to connect to other networks. The exact
specification of the network, including the required safety
devices, depends on the specifications of the responsible
organization. The device does not require any special network
settings for proper functioning. If the network is incorrectly
configured, the basic functioning of the device will not be
impaired, although some of its network functions may not be
available.
Data exchange
The device exchanges data with other network participants through
standard TCP/IP ports.
This data includes:

Measurement results

The responsible organization is responsible for the integrity of the
data exchange.
