Explanation
Integration Time
The stability of measured values increases as the integration time is set longer. However,
the measurement time will be longer. Set the integration time to an integer multiple of the
power line cycle (nPLC). The line frequency is measured automatically inside the GS200.
You can use the communication command “
:SYSTem:LFRequency?
” to check the
measured line frequency.
Range
1 PLC to 25 PLC (PLC stands for Power Line Cycles. One PLC is equivalent to one
period of the power source signal.)
Note
In one measurement operation, the output value and the zero reference value are both
measured. Therefore, the time for one measurement operation is: ((measurement delay
+ integration time) × 2) + software processing time (see section 2.5). For example, in an
environment where the power supply frequency is 50 Hz (1 PLC = 20 ms), if the measurement
delay is set to 0 ms and the integration time is set to 25 PLC (500 ms), the time required for
one measurement is the sum of approximately 1 second and the software processing time.
Software processing time is less than 1 ms.
