11.4 Viewing the Network Settings
Procedure

Over-view
soft key to display the currently active network settings. Any
changes that you have made to these settings are not displayed until you restart
the GS200.
Explanation
You can view the following network settings.
• MAC address
The MAC address is a unique 48-bit address assigned to the GS200.
• IP address (see section 11.3)
• Subnet mask (see section 11.3)
• Default gateway (see section 11.3)
Note
If DHCP is enabled, “0.0.0.0” will be displayed for the IP address, subnet mask, and default
gateway until an address is assigned to the GS200. If the display does not change even after
30 seconds elapses after the GS200 is turned on, the DHCP address assignment may have
failed. If this happens, check that the Ethernet cable is connected correctly and that the LINK
indicator of the 100BASE-TX port on the rear panel is illuminated, and then restart the GS200.
