Xerox WorkCentre 4260 User Guide

Side Cover Area Jams

Open the machine side cover and remove any jammed paper in the area.

WARNING:

The metallic surfaces in the fuser area are hot. Please use caution

when removing paper jams from this area and avoid touching any metallic
surfaces

Close the rear cover door.

Finisher Area Jams

Open the Finisher cover.

Lower handles 1a and 1b and
remove any jammed paper. If
no jammed paper is found,
proceed with the following
steps.

Press lever 1c down fully. While
holding 1c down, slide the
finisher unit to the left and
remove any jammed paper.

Return the finisher to its’
original position and close the
finisher door.
