Remove the face plate and store it.
The face plate is re-installed after
removing the feeder.

Angle the Envelope Feeder into the
printer.

Allow the Envelope Feeder to rest down
at its seated position.

Reconnect the power cord(s) and power
ON the printer.
After warming up for a few minutes, the
Control Panel displays the following
message:
Online
Ready
If any other message is displayed, see
Table 6.2 starting on page 6-6.

Print a Configuration Sheet and check
that the Envelope Feeder appears in the
“Installed Options” section. If not,
remove it as per Steps 1 to 2 on
page C-52, then repeat Steps 5 to 8 of this
procedure.
