Reverb-Settings (Of the Stereo Studio Reverb)
The ‘Reverb-Settings’ allow you to change the main characteristics of the Reverb. In short, you can ‘Design’ your per
-
fect Stereo Studio Reverb Effect.
At the top of the ‘Reverb-Settings’ section is the Reverb Graphical
Display. It shows us the shape of the Reverb, including how intense it is
and how it trails off. The display changes in ‘Realtime’ as you adjust the
settings , so you can see for yourself how each adjustment affects the
Reverb effect.
Below the graphical display are the key components of the Studio Re

verb effect:
Room Size:
This setting allows you to adjust the size of the ‘Effect’ from a
‘Small Room’ to a ‘Large Hall’.
Predelay:
Adjusts the amount of time before the ‘effect’ takes place in millisec
-
onds. A value of 0ms means the effect is immediate while a higher value of 25ms
means there is a 25 millisecond wait before the effect starts.
Time:
Adjusts the length of decay of the Reverb effect tail. Use this setting to
change between ‘Short’ decays or ‘Long’ Reverb tails.
Damp:
Allows you to adjust the ‘Dampening’ of the Reverb.
Diffuse:
Adjusts Diffusion of the Reverb (Change the Reverb from sounding
‘Narrow’ or ‘Wide’.
Definition:
Allows you to adjust the ‘Density’ of the Reverb Definition.
Form:
Adjusts the ‘Shape / Form’ of the Reverb and the ‘Attack’ curve / time of
the Reverb effect.
‘Reverb to’
Delay:
This setting allows you to intensify or decrease the intensity of the Reverb feed to
the Stereo Studio Delay generator.
Chorus:
This setting allows you to intensify or decrease the intensity of the Reverb feed to
the Stereo Studio Chorus generator.
‘Reflections’
Left:
The top box to the Left allows you to adjust the ‘delay’ of the Left ‘Echo’ in Millisec
-
onds.
The box below allows you to control the volume of the left ‘Echo’.
Right:
The top box to the Right allows you to adjust the ‘delay’ of the Right ‘Echo’ in Mil
-
liseconds. The box below allows you to control the volume of the Right ‘Echo’.
‘Input EQ’
Bass:
The Left box labelled ‘Bass’, allows you to adjust the ‘EQ / Frequency control for the
Reverb Effect Bass frequencies.
Treble:
The Right box labelled ‘Treble’, allows you to adjust the ‘EQ / Frequency control for
the Reverb Effect Treble frequencies.
Use the Data / Tempo wheel to cycle through the frequency range for both Bass and Treble.
