6. Select Apply and then select OK (refer to Figure 7.7);
Data reports are received
within a few seconds after clicking OK from the New Connection Properties dialog
box (refer to HyperTerminal screen in Figure 7.8)

7.2.2.4 Navigating HyperTerminal to set HPSA Volume Controls
The following steps guide the installer through the menu selections and keystrokes
necessary for navigating thru HyperTerminal. The menu selections and keystrokes
identified in this section will be used to set the required HPSA Volume Control settings
identified in Section 7.2, Setting the Volume Controls.
A list of HPSA settings is provided in Table 7.2 along with a description and factory
setting of each setting. Only the Line-In, Master and Master Limit settings should be
adjusted during the process of setting the HPSA’s Volume Control; all other settings are
factory set for the specific HPSA configuration delivered to the site and must not be
adjusted.

The nominal settings listed in Table 7.3 provide maximum rated output
power. Adjust Master Volume and Master Limit settings down if a reduced
sound output is required.
ONLY LINE-IN, MASTER AND MASTER LIMIT SHOULD BE ADJUSTED.
ALL OTHER SETTINGS MUST REMAIN AT THE FACTORY DEFAULT.
