1. From the HPSA-7100-R

Control Panel,

press the down arrow, select

Get HPSA

Status

and then press

ENTER

. A sub-menu appears on the screen.

2. Select

Amp/Dvr Status

and press

ENTER

. The screen displays amplifier and

driver statuses.

Amp Status

- Reports the status of the amplifier channels as Good or Bad. A

Bad status signifies that the output voltage of the Class D Amp is out of
tolerance.



Driver Status

- Reports the status of paired drivers (2 per amplifier/channel).

The following status combinations are possible:

•

GG - Both drivers are good.

•

BB - Both drivers are bad.

•

GB - One driver is good and one is bad. Engineer must use ohmmeter on
the pair to determine which driver is bad.

•

BG - One driver is bad and one is good. Engineer must use ohmmeter on

the pair to determine which driver is bad.

Refer to the table in Table 8.2, HPSA-7100-R Amp/Driver Settings and
Configurations to determine which amplifier channels and drivers are used.

Amps A5 through A8 and Drivers S5 through S8 are not used in the HPSA-

7100-R series.
