Omni-directional Horn Array Pole Mount
Heights
Appendix B provides application information for minimum height distances when installing pole mounted
HPSA-7100-R Omni-directional Horn Array Speakers.
Appendix B includes the following application note sections:

Figure B.1 shows the minimum pole mounting heights for HPSA-7100-R Series Omni-directional speakers
based on the number of horn arrays in the system.
The installer should take care to place the speaker arrays in a location based on height, near and far
obstructions, acoustics, and all other conditions that might hinder or impede audio performance.
Upon completion of the HPSA and the Speaker Array pole mount installation,
appropriate tests should be performed to verify the HPSA power settings and the
Speaker Array height meet the noise exposure specification listed in ANSI-S12.14
The information provided in Appendix B is for the HPSA-7100-R Omni-directional
Speaker Array Pole Mount installation. Refer to the Site Installation Plan and local,
OSHA, ANSI and other applicable codes when installing the Speaker Array in Omni,
Bi-directional or Linear Wall Mount or Roof Mount configurations.
