AMB:
No Battery Voltage LED
D11 (No Battery LED)
on the AMB will be OFF during normal operation if the
battery stack voltage is greater than approximately 16 VDC.
D11
will be illuminated if the battery stack voltage is less than approximately
16VDC. If the LED is lit,
•
Measure battery stack voltage
•
If battery stack voltage is less than 16VDC, disconnect and test each battery
individually for proper voltage (12VDC nominal).
•
Replace batteries as necessary.
AMB:
Low Battery Voltage LED
D12 (No Battery LED)
on the AMB will be OFF during normal operation if the
battery stack voltage is greater than approximately 46 - 46.5 VDC.
D12
will be illuminated if the battery stack voltage is less than approximately 45.5
- 46VDC. If the LED is lit,
•
Measure battery stack voltage
•
If battery stack voltage is less than 48VDC, disconnect and test each battery
individually for proper voltage (12VDC nominal).
Replace batteries as necessary.
AMB:
Door Open (Tamper) LED
D13 (Tamper LED)
on the AMB will be OFF during normal operation when the
HPSA door is closed.
D13 LED
will be illuminated when the HPSA door is open.
AMB:
Low Amplifier Voltage
LED
D14 (Low Amplifier Voltage LED)
on the AMB will be OFF during normal
operation.
If the D14 LED is lit, there is not sufficient power going to the Amplifier Board
from the PDB. Check the following:
•
PDB TB1 (+) and TB2 (-)
for 48VDC coming into the PDB
•
TB3 pins 1 (+) and 2 (-)
for 48VDC from the PDB to the
Amplifier Board.
AMB:
Drivers Open/Short LED
D15 (Drivers Open/Shorted LED)
on the AMB will be OFF during normal
operation.
If the D15 LED is illuminated, check all Speaker/Driver wires and connections for
an Open or a Short circuit.
Control Panel Assembly:
LID LED
On Control Panel Assembly’s LID Board, verify the power LED is illuminated
GREEN.
If the power LED is not lit, the Control Panel is not rec15VDC from the
PDB. Check the following:
•
Verify both ends of the ribbon cable from PDB-II to PMI are inserted
securely.
•
15 VDC on
TP9 to TP10
on the PDB
•
15VDC on PMI
J8
pins 49/50 and 1 (Gnd)
•
15VDC on PDB-II
J1
pins 20 and 1 (Gnd)
Control Panel Assembly:
PMI LEDs
On the PMI, the following LEDs will be illuminated during normal operation. If
they are not lit, call Eaton’s Cooper Notification Tech Support for assistance and
further troubleshooting.
•
D17 (3.3V LED)
•
D16 (5.5V LED)
