Saw unit lubrication fittings
Depending on the working conditions, you should lubricate
the saw unit
at least once a week
via both lubrication
points.

Saw chain
Ensure the saw chain is properly lubricated; apply
lubricant as required.
Inspect the saw chain to ensure it is tight; if the saw chain
is loosen, tighten the chain as required.
Hydraulic hoses
Ensure you inspect the hydraulic hoses and their
associated fasteners for signs of damage and for any
evidence of leaking; you should complete this inspection
at least once a week. If you identify any damage, repair or
replace the component(s) as required.
Structural
Ensure you inspect the felling head for signs of damage,
and for any evidence of cracking; you should carry out
this inspection at least once a month. If you identify any
damage, repair or replace the component(s) as required.
It is recommended you inspect all fasteners once a week,
to ensure they are not loose. If any fasteners are loose,
tighten them as required.
