Operation: Felling

Large-diameter trees

When processing and/or felling large-diameter trees:

1. The grapple arms must be able to fit around the butt

of the tree.

2. Ensure you maintain full control of the felling head at

all stages of felling and cutting.

3. After you have made a felling-cut, and the tree is in a

controlled fall, you can release the tree from the head.
