Operation: Felling

Select felling

You should fell and stock-pile stems with the butts placed
so as to facilitate the extraction machine’s access from
the site pathway. This method is dependent upon the
finished crop stocking levels.

Select felling allows a reduction in the number of paths cut
from a block, while providing access for extraction carriers.
