Quantum Manual
If no pad is latched all display pads will be used to se-
quence the notes. For rhythmic variation you can use the
parameters
Rhythm Pattern
,
Swing
and
Rel Gate
.
You could also press the
Latch
button and then select a set
of steps by tapping on a corresponding pad. This is high-
lighted in white and only this will be used for playback, i.e.
when the algorithm is wandering through the pads only
the latched ones will play. For the other ones a rest will be
inserted. If you like to get back using all pads in playback,
then simply press
Latch
to un-latch everything.
XY Pad Tab
This page provides an X-Y pad, a two-dimensional control-
ler based on two selected modulation parameters.
First you need to define the X and Y controllers within the
Modulation Matrix
. You can, for example, easily set up a
modulation for Cutoff (Pad X) and Resonance (Pad Y).
X/Y Polarity
Both controllers can be switched from
Bipolar
to
Unipolar
.
