One Set can contain only one sound program at
any given time. This means that if you want to
add the same sound program as previously ad-
ded, the older one disappears when saving the
new one to a desired location.
Autoplay Tab
Here you will find an exceptional arpeggiator as well as an
outstanding step sequencer. Within the Autoplay display
page, use the
Mode
button to switch between Arpeggiator
and Sequencer. You can also choose Parameter Seq. More
on that later!
The Arpeggiator
An Arpeggiator is a device that splits an incoming chord
into its individual notes and repeats them rhythmically.
Different sequence modes can be defined for the Arpeggia-
tor to cover a wide range of applications. In addition to the
synthesis features Quantum offers a programmable arpeg-
giator. It can play a wide range of different rhythm pat-
terns.
Click on the
Arp
button in the Wheel section to activate or
deactivate the arpeggiator.

We recommend to press the
Chord
button instead of
Latch. In
Latch
mode, all played notes are held until
their key is pushed again.

The arpeggiator outputs MIDI notes if the MIDI Out
function on the
Global
menu page is enabled.
