Changing the wiper blades on the windshield
Lift the wiper arm(s) away from the windshield.
Press and hold the release button → Fig. 196 ① .
While lifting the wiper blade in the direction of the wiper arm, pull
off the wiper blade in the direction of the arrow. This may require
moderate force.
Install a new wiper blade of same length and type onto the wiper
arm by pushing in the opposite direction of the arrow until it
latches.
Carefully fold the wiper arm back down onto the windshield.
Changing the rear window wiper blade
Lift the wiper arm away from the window.
Press and hold the release button → Fig. 197 ① .
While lifting the wiper blade in the direction of the wiper arm
→ Fig. 197 (arrow Ⓐ), pull off the wiper blade in the direction of
the arrow Ⓑ. This may require moderate force.
Install a new wiper blade of the same length and type onto the
wiper arm by pushing in the opposite direction of the
arrow → Fig. 197 Ⓑ until it latches.
Carefully fold the wiper arm back down onto the window.
