instrument cluster display switches off, and the Adaptive Cruise
Control can be reactivated.
Strong reflected radiation of the radar signal, for example, in
multilevel parking structures, can impair the function of the radar
sensor.
Overheated brakes
Adaptive Cruise Control may switch off temporarily if the brakes
overheat significantly, for example from braking maneuvers or
driving down steep slopes. A driver information message appears in
the instrument cluster display. Adaptive Cruise Control cannot be
activated.
Adaptive Cruise Control can be activated again once the
temperature of the brakes decreases sufficiently. The message on
the instrument cluster display switches off. If the message does not
go out for a long time, there is a fault.
If the message ACC not available does not switch off, there is a
malfunction. Contact your authorized Volkswagen dealer or
authorized Volkswagen Service Facility.
