Removing the luggage compartment floor
Grasp the recessed handle → Fig. 103 , lift the luggage
compartment floor, and pull it rearward out of the guides on the
sides of the luggage compartment.
Remove the luggage compartment floor and store it in a clean,
dry location.
During hard braking or an accident, loose objects can fly through
the passenger compartment and cause serious or even fatal
injuries.
Even if the luggage compartment floor panel is properly raised,
it is still necessary to secure all objects.
The maximum weight rating of the variable luggage
compartment floor is 330 lbs (150 kg) in the upper position
