Your vehicle may be equipped with a special DSG

automated

transmission that combines the performance and economy of a

standard manual transmission with the comfort and convenience of

a conventional automatic transmission. The DSG transmission

housing contains two clutches, one that works with the odd-

numbered gears (1, 3, 5 and R) and the other that works with the

even-numbered gears (2, 4, 6). The dual clutch configuration
