Pressure side
In the delivery pipe, we recommend a maximum flow speed of 6 m/s (loss of
pressure!).
11.1.4 Return
In the return piping, we recommend a maximum flow speed of 3 m/s. The return
fluid must not be sucked directly back in by the pump under any circumstances, i.e.
the largest possible distance must be maintained between the suction piping and the
return piping. To prevent the oil from foaming, the return fluid outlet must be at least
50 mm (or three times the nominal diameter of the return piping) below the lowest
possible oil level.
