SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using the appliance, make sure that your mains voltage corresponds to the values on the type plate of the product.
• Please note that this product is for domestic, non-professional use only. Neither the distributor nor the manufacturer
is responsible for any damage or injury caused by commercial use, misuse, or use outside of the specified specifications.
In such circumstances, the standard warranty expires.
• The appliance is intended for household use only and is not intended for outdoor use.
• Do not use the dehydrator for any purpose other than that for which it is intended, ie for drying suitable food
• This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards. Children must not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are at least 8 years old
and under supervision.
• CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MUST BE KEPT OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF THE APPLIANCE.
• Avoid contact with pets, plants and insects when the appliance is running.
• Before first use, remove all packaging material incl. plastic bags out of reach of children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• The plug must be earthed. In addition, it should be firmly plugged into the outlet, as loose connections may cause a fire.
• DO NOT USE THE MOTOR UNIT TO HEAT THE ROOM!
• When switching the power off and on, always switch off the device with the on / off switch first.
• When unplugging, hold the plug by the plug, not the cord. Do not insert or disconnect the plug with wet hands. Do not
let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or sharp objects.
• The power cord must not be exposed to water, moisture or hot surfaces.
• The appliance and its parts are not dishwasher safe.

CAUTION
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer, remote control or any other
component that switches the appliance on automatically, as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or incorrect

ly positioned when the appliance is put into operation.
• If the appliance or its power cord is damaged in any way, do not use it and contact your dealer or a specialist work
-
shop.
• As electric dehydrators usually work for a longer period of time, observe the specified drying times, do not leave
the dehydrator in operation longer than recommended by the manufacturer, see. table with times for individual dried
foods.
• The continuous running time should not exceed 24 hours. Allowing the appliance to cool down sufficiently before
restarting it will extend its life.
• Never leave the device unattended.
• Never push any objects into the motor unit with the heater.
• This device is intended for extended use. Therefore, place it out of the reach of children. Make sure that children do
not touch the appliance when it is in operation or hot, and that they cannot reach to the power cord.
• Prior to using, make sure that the device is on a stable, dry and heat-resistant surface to prevent possible damage or
tipping over. Be careful that the device does not fall off the work surface.
• Do not place the machine on paper, newspapers, dusty or loose surfaces. This material can enter the ventilation open

ings or inside the device and cause dirt and damage to the device. There is a risk of overheating and fire.
• NEVER COVER THE DEVICE WITH BLANKETS, TOWELS OR OTHER OBJECTS DURING OPERATION!
• Place the dehydrator at a sufficient distance from walls, curtains and drapes.
• The appliance generates heat which is ventilated from it. During use, remove all objects from the bottom of the device
that could obstruct the access of air and damage the device.
• Device should be secured when it is running. The heat outlet must not be covered during operation to avoid the risk of
fire and other damage.
• Do not allow any liquid to enter, expose to mechanical damage, weathering, direct sunlight, heat sources, moisture,
corrosive substances, or other factors that could damage the device or cause a fire in connection with the device.
• Place the device at a sufficient distance from walls, curtains and drapes.

• Do not use the device in a condensing atmosphere. Do not use the device in conditions with ambient temperature and
humidity, which may cause water condensation inside the device.
• Do not use the device when it is damp, either due to the weather or after cleaning the cover.
• Do not attempt to use the device immediately after bringing it from a cold environment to a warm environment.
Condensation of water inside and outside the thermometer can cause the risk of injury and damage to the instrument.
