INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
NOTE!
If holes are drilled into the exterior of this WIC and not filled using a seal tight connector, the
manufacturer’s warranty will be void.

Installation Overview
The following is the recommended sequence for the installation and start-up procedures. The sequence may
change according to job and site conditions.
•
Ensure all site drawings and approvals are in place.
•
Obtain the recommended tools and test equipment.
•
Read “Important Safety Instructions” starting on page 7 carefully.
•
Check that all the equipment and materials have been delivered.
•
Proceed with the physical installation of the WIC.
•
Install and verify ground cables.
•
Install and verify the AC power.
•
Install and verify the DC power.
•
Route, splice, and verify the OSP cables.
•
Install and verify the alarm cables.
•
Install and verify the batteries.
•
Turn-up, verify, and adjust the system.
