Gas (Bottled Propane)
Gas Bottles:
Your Vanmaster Caravan has been designed to use Propane Liquefied
Petroleum Gas (LPG).
Butane, Gas or other bottles need alternative connectors.
Propane gas is supplied in Red (Calor), or partially red bottles, which have a
female left hand, threaded connector.
Propane will work at temperatures as low as -40 degrees C. and is therefore
suitable for all winter caravanning.
Make sure that heating and cooking appliances and the gas cylinders are
switched off before you move the caravan.
Make sure that each gas appliance is working efficiently to the
recommendations of the appliance manufactures.
Gas Storage Lockers:
Your Vanmaster Caravan gas storage locker is designed to accommodate
one 13kg and once 6kg propane gas bottle. (Models may vary.)
The two lockable opening doors to the front of the Caravan access the
locker.
The locker doors should be kept locked at all times and especially when
travelling.
