Wind up the corner steadies.

Reverse the car close up to the Caravan's hitch. It is advisable to
have an assistant to guide you so that the car tow ball aligns with
the Caravan's hitch.
f)
Make sure the jockey wheel height is sufficient for the hitch head
to clear the towing vehicles tow ball.
g)
Manoeuvre the hitch head over the tow ball and lower the jockey
wheel using the winding handle, until the hitch head opening sits
comfortably over the tow bar ball
Coupling the AL-KO AKS3004:

Remove the tow ball cover and lock (if fitted) and place in car. Switch off
engine; towing vehicle handbrake is on, automatic gearbox in park.
AKS 3004 using the coupling handle put the AKS on to the tow ball. Push the
black handle down and check the green indicator button is showing.
The stabiliser lever must be in the uppermost position.
