Petrol/Diesel Fumes
The fitting of a tail pipe to your exhaust will reduce the possibility of fumes
entering your Caravan through the front fixed ventilation points.
Fire Safety
Smoke Alarm
Your Vanmaster Caravan will be fitted with a photoelectric battery operated
smoke detector.
It will be fitted normally on the internal roof adjacent to the entrance door.
The model fitted will normally be the status GNS-366. Its main features are:-
a)
Photoelectric sensor for slow smouldering fires.
b)
Small footprint.
c)
Power and alarm test button.
d)
Loud 85DB Alarm signal.
e)
Cannot be fitted without batteries.
Operating Your Smoke Alarm
Once the smoke alarm had been installed a small indicator light (LED),
positioned under the test button, and should flash approximately once a
minute in normal operation. If smoke is detected the unit will emit a loud
pulsating alarm until the air is clear.
Testing Your Smoke Alarm.
It is recommended that you test your smoke alarm at the commencement of
every outing in your Caravan and then once every week thereafter.
Push and hold the test button for approximately 3 seconds. A loud pulsating
