Important: Under NO circumstances should any abrasive cleaning agents,
household detergents or proprietary cleaning fluids be used.
Wash the window again using only cold water and dry off with chamois
leather.
Important: Should scratched appear on the acrylic windows these can often
be removed with an acrylic polish i.e. ICI Perspex polish. Gentle polishing
with a liquid metal polish. i.e. Brasso may also have the desired effect -
consult Vanmaster before attempting any but the slightest scratch.
Window Condensation:
As your Caravan is double-glazed you may occasionally get condensation
inside the double glazing. This is particularly so in severe weather change
(usually spring and autumn) and is easily cured in dry weather.
1. Remove the plastic plugs from interior of each window.
2. Leave unplugged for 1-4 hours until condensation has cleared.
3. Replace plugs.
Care and Instructions for Remis Roof lights:
Never use aggressive or corrosive cleaners. The acrylic cover and the frame
should be cleaned only with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner that does not
contain solvents or abrasives.
Do not spray under the cover. There is an air gap between the cover and the
frame going all the way around (forced air vent), through which sprayed
water could enter the Caravan interior.
The ventilation grids of the inner frame can be removed for cleaning
purposes.
All rubber seals should be dusted with talcum powder at least once a year.
