Battery Changing:
Control box battery:-
Battery Type - PP3/MN1604 9 volt.
At the Control Box switch off alarm system by inserting isolating key and
turning fully anticlockwise.
Locate the battery cover and remove by firmly pressing down in the region
of the arrows then sliding away from the case.
Remove old battery. Replace with a PP3 or MN1604 good quality battery
ensuring that the polarity is correct.
The battery should be changed at yearly intervals.
Check system for correct function.
Key fob battery:
Battery Type: - GP 23A 12Volt.
In normal use the key fob(s) battery should last approx. 2 to 3 years.
At the Control Box switch off alarm system by inserting isolating key and
turning fully anti clockwise.
With a small crosshead screwdriver remove the 3 screws front the back of
the key fob. Remove back cover, unclip battery from its holder and replace
with a new battery of the same type.
Be sure to maintain correct polarity.
Replace back, replace screws and tighten.
Check system for correct function.
Control box removal:
If it is necessary to remove the control box, isolate the system with the
isolating key then grasp the control box firmly and slide upwards (gently
'waggling' from side to side) till it comes off its mounting plate. The control
