A brake motor
(Figure 8) is provided to
reduce “coasting” stops of potentially
dangerous parts of the machine.
Covers and guards
enclose potentially
dangerous machine areas. These covers
and guards are of utmost importance to
safe machine operation.
Never attempt
to operate the machine with a cover
or guard opened, removed or modi-
fied. Serious personal injury may
occur!
Covers and guards, safety signs, safety
switches, and brake motors are standard
equipment on newly manufactured
machines and are available for placement
on older machines that may not have had
them at the time of original manufacture.
