Optional Memory Card
Removing an Optional Memory Card
To remove an optional memory card from the computer, follow the steps below and refer to
Figure 4-2.
1.
Turn off the power to the computer, and, if attached, disconnect the AC adapter,
power cord and all external cables connected to the computer.
2.
Remove the battery pack as described in Section 4.2.
3.
Open the
cover
to the expansion memory slot.
4.
Grasp the plastic tab and pull it so the card comes partially out of the computer.
5.
Grasp the
optional memory card
and pull it completely out.

CAUTION
: DO NOT touch the connecting edge of the memory card. Debris or oil in
or on the connector may cause memory access problems.
