Q9 ASD Installation and Operation Manual

LCD Screen

The LCD screen is the primary user input/output information center. Parameter settings may be viewed, or 
selected and changed using the LCD screen module of the EOI. To view or change a parameter setting 
using the LCD screen, press the Mode key until the Program menu is displayed. Turn the Rotary 
Encoder until the desired Primary Menu item of the Program menu is displayed. Press the Rotary 
Encoder to select the item from the Primary Menu (repeat the press-to-select for submenu items).

See the section titled 

Default Setting Changes on pg. 57

 for more information on changing parameter 

setting.

Repeated ESC key entries at any time takes the menu back one level each time the ESC key is pressed 
until the Frequency Command screen is reached. Further ESC key entire are ignored.

LCD Screen Installation Note

When installing the LCD screen module of the EOI, ensure that the left side of the display is inserted first 
with the top and bottom catches (See Phillips screws at underside of screen) securely in place. This 
ensures the proper alignment and electrical connection of the NX connector of the LCD screen module 
PCB. Gently hold the screen in place while securing the Phillips mounting screw.

If improperly seated, the periphery of the LCD screen module will not be flush with the front panel 
surface and the unit will not function properly.
