The above example programs the following:
The “F” terminal, when shorted to “CC”, acts like the LOCAL/REMOTE key on the keypad (notice
keypad LED) .The Potential Terminal, which does not physically exist, is assigned the function of
Enable. Whatever function is assigned to the Potential Terminal is always “on”. Therefore, the
jumper between ST-CC is now unnecessary. As a further example, if a value of 10 was placed
in Potential Terminal Function, the drive would do nothing but ESTOP.
The G3’s terminals can be programmed to activate their assigned functions
when a normally closed
