If you want to stop/start the slave from the keypad, set Frequency Mode Selection in UTILITY
PARAMETERS to ‘1’ (remote input valid). This will allow the drive to follow an external frequency
reference even with the LOCAL/REMOTE LED illuminated.
The follower’s pulse input can be bias/gained to set up a ratio between drives. To make the follower run

* The Bias/Gain of the PG input is dependent on the drive’s Maximum Output Frequency (MOF). In the
above example, if the MOF is left at 80 Hz, the follower will run at 22.5 Hz when the master is at 60 Hz
(the drive assumes MOF to be 100%).
Because the permissible adjustment range of the above parameters includes positive and negative values, a
follower direction change based on reference is possible.
