4. Orient the fitting on the end of the PdH reference electrode so that the

knobs on the fitting align with the grooves in the reference electrode well
(see

Figure B-17

5. Insert the fitting into the well.

6. Screw the nut on the PdH reference electrode into the reference electrode

well and tighten it fingertight (see

Figure B-18

). After fingertightening,

use a wrench to tighten the nut an additional 20 to 30 degrees.

7. Orient the cell assembly with the yoke knob on the left and then push the

cell onto its mounting location on the ED.
